Mehrraz E.Ahangar is an experienced professional with a strong background in community support and project management. Currently serving as the SWIS Program Coordinator at North York Community House since May 2014, Mehrraz provides training and program support to the SWIS team, while also overseeing the program's database systems. Prior experience includes roles as a Settlement Counsellor, assisting newcomers with integration and community support, and as a Community Engagement Facilitator for the Bathurst Finch Women’s Safe from Violence Project, where valuable insights were gathered on resources for women experiencing violence. Earlier experience as a Project Manager at Arpa Pooyesh Tech involved coordinating project resources, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery. Mehrraz holds a B.S. degree in Physics from Shahid Beheshti University and has completed various programs in mental health, financial literacy, and accessibility.
