Cole Dyar Ms, Laadc, Doctoral Candidate

Cole Dyar, MS, LAADC, Doctoral Candidate has extensive experience in the field of mental health and addiction treatment. They are currently serving as the Executive Director of the Mental Health Network at Northbound Treatment Services. Prior to this role, they held the position of Executive Director of Operations at Alter Health Group. From 2015 to 2022, they worked at Southern California Recovery Centers, where they held various roles including Program Director, Clinical Case Manager, and Operations Manager. Additionally, they have experience as a Therapeutic Behavioral Services Coach, where they worked with children and adolescents with behavioral disorders, schizophrenia, attachment disorders, FASD, Autism spectrum disorder, and various SMI. They provided behavioral interventions, family systemic work, and taught coping mechanisms and social skills for reintegrating into their environments.

Cole Dyar, MS, LAADC, Doctoral Candidate has an extensive education history. They began their educational journey in 2000, attending the University of California, Santa Cruz, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Sociology, completing their studies in 2004.

In 2015, Cole pursued further education in the field of Substance Abuse/Addiction Counseling, obtaining an AOD credential from Marste Training Services (MTS), which they completed in 2016.

Building on their previous qualifications, Cole pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Northcentral University from 2017 to 2019. During this period, Cole also obtained the Licensed Advanced Alcohol & Drug Counselor (LAADC) certification from the California Consortium of Addiction Programs and Professionals in October 2020.

Currently, Cole is undertaking a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in MFT- Systemic Administration & Entrepreneurship at Northcentral University, which they commenced in 2019 and are expected to complete in 2024.

In addition to their formal education, Cole has obtained several certifications. In 2019, they completed courses on Search Engine Optimization Fundamentals and Introduction to Search Engine Optimization from the University of California, Davis/Coursera, and the University of California, Davis, respectively. Furthermore, they obtained the OMCA™ Certification for Digital Marketers Test Prep from LinkedIn in October 2019. Continuing their professional development, Cole acquired certifications in Optimizing a Website for Search from the University of California, Davis in January 2020, and Google Ads Essential Training, The Six Morning Habits of High Performers, and Accounting Foundations: Managerial Accounting from LinkedIn in June and July 2022.
