Melissa S.

Melissa S. has significant experience in the insurance industry, primarily in underwriting and quality assurance roles. Melissa is currently the Director of National Quality Assurance and Underwriting Excellence at Northbridge Financial Corporation, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, Melissa worked as an Underwriting Learning Consultant for the same company from March 2021 to January 2022.

Before joining Northbridge Financial Corporation, Melissa worked at Northbridge Insurance from 2012 to 2021. During their time there, they held various roles including Underwriting Manager from January 2019 to March 2021, Underwriting Team Lead from May 2018 to January 2019, and Senior Underwriter from May 2012 to April 2018.

Melissa S. obtained their Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) degree from the Insurance Institute of Canada from 2012 to 2014. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor of Education (BEd) degree in History at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education of the University of Toronto from 2008 to 2009. Melissa's educational journey began with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Cinema Studies at the University of Toronto. Melissa completed this degree in 2007.
