John Gallagher, MBA, CCUIA, CUERME has an extensive work experience. John began their career at Tompkins County Trust Company in 1987 as an Accountant, where they worked until 1990. John then joined SEFCU in 1992 and held multiple roles, including Accounting Manager and Director of Internal Audit until July 2022. In 2015, John became the Board Chair at ACUIA, where they presided over meetings and ensured governance and fiscal oversight of the Association. Currently, they are the VP Internal Audit at Northeast Credit Union, a position they have held since June 2022.

John obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University at Albany, SUNY, graduating in 2017.
