Tamar Gontovnik

Tamar Gontovnik is an experienced legal professional currently serving as Assistant General Counsel at the Northeast Ohio Regional Sewer District since December 2015. Prior to this role, Tamar worked as an Associate in Real Estate/Environmental and Litigation Groups at Benesch Law from August 2011 to December 2015, providing counsel on environmental compliance, regulatory matters, and complex environmental litigation. Earlier career experience includes an attorney position at Barnes & Thornburg LLP from December 2009 to July 2011 and a law clerk role at Vermont Trial Courts from September 2008 to December 2009. Tamar holds a J.D. from Indiana University Bloomington (2008) and a B.S.E. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of Michigan (2003).
