Dick Zorn started their career in 1963 as an Enforcement Attorney at the Securities and Exchange Commission. Dick then worked at Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc. and Oppenheimer & Co. Inc. as a Senior Vice President before founding Baliss and Zorn in 1978. At Baliss and Zorn, they served as the Founder, President, and Co-Chief Executive, managing $400m in assets and providing full service portfolio management services. In 1994, they joined Benchmark Capital as the Managing Partner, where they managed $178m in assets and raised $80m in the first three years. Dick also formed a division, Zorn Capital Consulting, which allocated assets to other money managers. Currently, they are working as the Managing Director at Northeast Securities since 2017.
Dick Zorn's education history includes completing a Bachelor's degree in Music at Yale University from 1958 to 1962. Dick further pursued their education at Yale Law School, where they obtained a Master of Laws (LLM) degree in the field of Law from 1962 to 1965.
