Jacob Eymann has extensive experience in dam safety engineering and hydroelectric management, currently serving as Hydroelectric Manager and Chief Dam Safety Engineer for NCPA since September 2015. Key responsibilities include maintaining safe dam operations and managing a variety of civil infrastructure projects, such as reservoir sediment removal and emergency repairs. Previously, Jacob held the position of Chief Dam Safety Engineer at El Dorado Irrigation District from February 2003 to September 2015, overseeing safety and regulatory compliance for ten reservoirs while managing significant projects in water supply facilities. Earlier experience includes working as an Associate Engineer for the California Division of Safety of Dams from June 1999 to February 2003, conducting inspections and performing technical studies. Jacob holds a degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structural Engineering and Water Resources from California State University-Sacramento.
