Patrick Wreglesworth

Patrick Wreglesworth has a diverse work experience spanning from 2014 to the present. Patrick most recently worked as the Head of Security at Northern Gas Networks starting in November 2022. Before that, they were a Global OT Security Consultant at The Weir Group PLC from February 2022 to October 2022. Prior to that, Patrick held various roles at PwC UK, including Manager from July 2021 to February 2022, Senior Associate from July 2019 to July 2021, and Associate from September 2017 to July 2019. Their earliest recorded position was as an Associate at IWA International Geological Consultants, where they developed and maintained company databases and worked with financial and industry-specific data from April 2014 to September 2017.

Patrick Wreglesworth earned a Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry from Newcastle University from 2014 to 2017. Prior to that, they attended Eirias High School from 2007 to 2014, where they pursued A-levels in Chemistry, Biology, and Maths, and obtained 11 GCSE's.

In addition to their academic qualifications, Patrick has obtained several certifications. Patrick became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in February 2023. Patrick also earned the Azure Defender for IoT certification from Microsoft in December 2020. Furthermore, they hold the Prince2 Foundation Certificate from AXELOS Global Best Practice, obtained in February 2018, and the ITIL Foundation Certificate in IT service management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT, obtained in October 2017. Lastly, they received the COBIT 5 Foundation certification from APMG International in September 2017.
