Katie Davison

Katie Davison serves as the Director of State Relations at Northern Illinois University since May 2021. Previously, Katie held the position of Director at Innovate Springfield - University of Illinois Springfield from February 2016 to 2021, focusing on social innovation and business incubation to bolster economic development. Prior experience includes roles as a Research Associate and Research Analyst at the Center for Governmental Studies at Northern Illinois University from November 2002 to February 2016, and an Administrative Intern at the Illinois Department of Commerce and Economic Opportunity in 2001. Katie Davison earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Communication from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, in 2001.
