Steve Vandenavond is currently the VP of Extended Learning & Community Engagement, & Dean of Technology & Occupational Sciences at Northern Michigan University. Prior to their current position, Steve served as the Associate Provost and Dean of Continuing Education and Outreach at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay from January 2010 to April 2015. Steve also served as the President of the Village of Allouez from April 2007 to April 2015. Additionally, Steve has worked as a Research Associate at Leo Burnett and as an Assistant Professor at Michigan Technological University.
Steve Vandenavond has a Ph.D. in psychology from Loyola University Chicago, an M.A. in psychology from Illinois State University, and a B.A. in psychology and German from Marquette University. Steve also has degrees from the University of Tampa and Abbot Pennings.
