Gerard Walsh

Gerard Walsh is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in capital markets, business development, and client operations. Currently serving as Global Head of Capital Markets Client Solutions at Northern Trust Corporation since May 2016, Gerard plays a key role in providing comprehensive solutions for investment managers, asset managers, and asset owners. Previously, Gerard held positions as Chief Business Officer at Aviate Global, which was acquired by Northern Trust, and Head of Institutional Client Operations at Schroders. With a strong background that includes management roles at Telewest Communications, Accenture, Deloitte, Thorn EMI, and Mobil Oil Corporation, Gerard has consistently focused on delivering strategic solutions and fostering long-term partnerships throughout a successful career. Gerard holds an MBA in International Business from Victoria University of Wellington and a BA in English Literature from the same institution.
