Nick Kotakis

Nick Kotakis is a seasoned cybersecurity and risk management professional currently serving as SVP and Global Head of Third Party Risk at Northern Trust since January 2024. Previously, Nick held the position of Senior Director and Divisional CISO at Capital One, overseeing infrastructure platform security, leading a team of 23 directors and senior engineers, and managing complex cyber risk discussions with regulatory bodies. Nick's extensive experience includes key roles at Deloitte as a Senior Manager in Advisory Cyber Risk, and at General Dynamics Mission Systems as a Solutions Architect, among others. With a strong educational background comprising an MBA from the University of Mary Washington, a BSIT from Strayer University, and executive certificates from Cornell University and MIT Sloan School of Management, Nick demonstrates a commitment to advancing cybersecurity strategies and fostering organizational resilience.
