Erica Moody

Erica Moody serves as a Senior Copyeditor at Vanguard since July 2024 and is a Contributing Editor for Northern Virginia Magazine since May 2023. Previously, Erica held the position of Deputy Editor, Lifestyle at Philadelphia magazine, overseeing lifestyle and service coverage for an award-winning publication. As Managing Editor for Travel Leaders Group, Erica managed print publications for North America's largest travel agency and was Editor in Chief of the bridal magazine Destination Bliss. The role at Washington Life Magazine as Deputy Editor & Senior Lifestyle Editor involved editing content focused on luxury lifestyle in Washington, D.C. Erica's earlier experience includes working as a Scene Reporter at Bisnow and various editorial roles at the Association of Writers & Writing Programs, the International Center for Alcohol Policies, and CD Publications. Erica holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University-Los Angeles and a BA in English from Tulane University, along with studies at New York University and Trinity College Dublin.
