What We’re Looking For

We are looking for a strategic and experienced Digital Analytics Lead who excels in data visualization, campaign optimization, and mentoring, with a deep understanding of digital marketing trends and data privacy laws.

As a Digital Analytics Lead at Northern, you will drive data-driven decision-making and insights across our digital marketing efforts. You'll collaborate with department leaders on topics like digital cookies and AI, and provide strategic support for clients' Data Management Platforms (DMPs). Your role includes creating impactful dashboards, managing campaign delivery, and troubleshooting discrepancies. You will implement Conversions API for enhanced tracking, stay updated on data privacy laws, and train the paid media team on analytics tools. Additionally, you'll mentor junior specialists, lead client communications, and optimize campaign performance using multi-touch attribution and media mix modeling.!

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strategic DMP Support: Provide strategic guidance for the utilization of customers' Data Management Platforms (DMPs).

  • Best Practices for Feed Management: Establish and maintain best practices for technical feed management, optimization, and setup.

  • Data Visualization & Reporting: Create and maintain impactful dashboards and reports to support the team and inform strategic decisions.

  • Campaign Management: Manage and troubleshoot campaign delivery, delivery discrepancies, and tracking/reporting issues.

  • Conversions API Management: Implement and manage Conversions API to enhance tracking and measurement capabilities.

  • Industry Trend Monitoring: Stay updated on data privacy laws and industry trends, assessing their impact on campaigns and clients.

  • Team Training & Mentorship: Train the paid media team on analytics tools, and mentor junior to mid-level specialists.

  • Reporting Solutions Tracking: Track adoption rates of reporting solutions across clients and internal teams, using insights to drive further enhancements.

  • Optimization & Automation Tools: Utilize multi-touch attribution and media mix modeling tools to optimize campaigns and develop scripts to automate data handling and reporting processes.

Knowledge, Education & Experience Required

  • 5+ years in Paid Media, Marketing, or Data Science.

  • Digital Channels Knowledge: Strong understanding of multiple digital channels (SEM, SEO, CRO, Social, Shopping, Display) and their integration.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of cookies, tags, tracking, and data privacy laws.

  • Analytics Proficiency: Proficiency in analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Salesforce, or similar platforms.

  • Tool Familiarity: Experience with DMPs and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).

  • Problem-solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting campaign issues.

  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders.
