Mellissa Velasco

Mellissa Velasco has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries. Mellissa currently works as a Loan Accountant at Northpointe Bank, a role they started in October 2022. Prior to this, Mellissa held various positions at Lake Michigan Credit Union. Mellissa served as a Senior Mortgage Processor from June 2020 to June 2023, an Assistant Branch Manager from September 2018 to June 2020, an MSR (Member Service Representative) from March 2017 to October 2018, and a Teller 2 from February 2016 to February 2017. Mellissa also has experience as a Teller at Huntington National Bank from May 2013 to February 2016, where they demonstrated excellent customer service and adherence to regulatory policies. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant Manager at Clarks from September 2012 to May 2013, where they honed their skills in inventory management, employee training, sales, and customer service.

Mellissa Velasco's education history begins in 2001 when they enrolled at Cedarville University. Mellissa successfully completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Church music ministries in 2005. Following this, Mellissa pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Finance, General. From 2013 to 2014, they attended Davenport University for their MBA. Mellissa then transferred to Southern New Hampshire University, where they continued their MBA studies from 2014 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Mellissa obtained a certification as a Notary Public from Lake Michigan Credit Union in May 2017.
