Sheri duChemin has a diverse work experience spanning several organizations and roles. Sheri started their career in 1992 as a Legal Assistant at GreenStone Farm Credit Services, where they supported the Legal Specialist and performed tasks such as analyzing work requests, completing mortgage packages, and auditing closed loans. In 1995, they joined Provia Software as the Director of Human Resources, where they developed a cohesive HR department and served as an ambassador for international staff. During their time at Provia Software, they also took on additional roles such as Human Resource Manager, Office Manager, and Safety Compliance Manager for the parent company Viastore. In 2006, they joined Northpointe Bank and held various HR positions, including Assistant VP, Vice President, and currently Senior Vice President of Human Resources. In their current role, they oversee the development and workflow of the HR department, provides leadership and training to the HR staff, and guides managers through various HR processes such as performance assessments and incentive plans.

Sheri duChemin completed their education with a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree from Davenport University, specializing in Legal Studies, General. Sheri attended Davenport University from 1990 to 1994. Prior to that, they pursued English Language and Literature at Michigan State University between 1986 and 1991.
