Kerry-Ann Stirrup

Kerry-Ann Stirrup is a Principal Research Scientist at Northrop Grumman since July 2025, following extensive experience at Sandia National Laboratories as a Postdoctoral Researcher from May 2013 to July 2025, focusing on materials characterization, thermoplastic polymer development for neutron generators, and thermal testing processes. Kerry-Ann completed a PhD in Materials Engineering at Purdue University, where research centered on the dynamic failure of crystalline explosives, and contributed to teaching and mentoring programs. Earlier academic engagement included a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering from New Mexico Tech and various roles including teaching assistant and intern, showcasing a strong foundation in materials science and engineering.
