Jared Parrish

Jared Parrish has a diverse range of work experience in legal and compliance roles. Jared was previously the General Counsel/Chief Compliance Officer at NorthStar Alarm Services, where they provided legal advice to the Board of Directors, CEO, and executive management. Jared also oversaw compliance with service and commercial contracts. Prior to that, they worked as an Attorney at Ray Quinney & Nebeker, representing investment advisory firms and broker-dealers in regulatory enforcement actions and private securities lawsuits. Jared also acted as lead counsel to federal equity receivers appointed by federal courts. Before that, they were an Attorney at Prince, Yeates & Geldzahler, where they focused on representing federal equity receivers and individual investors in securities lawsuits. Jared also testified as a witness for the State of Utah in two high-profile criminal cases. Their career began at the Utah Department of Commerce, Division of Securities, where they worked as an Attorney in the Enforcement Division. In this role, they investigated and enforced allegations of Blue-Sky law violations and successfully debarred several securities salespeople involved in a major securities fraud scheme.

Jared Parrish earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Utah. Following their undergraduate studies, they attended Gonzaga University School of Law from 2004 to 2007, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree.
