Simon Mathers

Simon Mathers has extensive experience in the construction materials industry, currently serving as Lab Manager at Macrete Ireland Ltd since March 2017. Simon also holds the position of Lab Technician and Materials/Quality Engineer at Northstone (NI) Limited, where responsibilities include testing materials to BS EN standards and managing quality across various locations in Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland. Notable projects include oversight of testing for large-scale commercial schemes like the A26 Road Scheme and Kilgallioch Wind Farm in Scotland. Previous roles include managing repair teams for Roads Service Direct and gaining foundational experience through various positions at Northstone (NI) Ltd during academic studies. Simon earned a BEng in Civil Engineering from Queen's University Belfast.
