Susan Browning

Susan Browning is the current Senior Vice President of Business Development at Northwell Health. Susan has over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Prior to their current position, they served as the Vice President for Administration at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn-Methodist Hospital from 1991 to 1998. Before that, they were the Coordinator for Physician Reimbursement at Columbia University Medical Center from 1990 to 1991. Susan has a wealth of experience in the healthcare industry and is a valuable asset to Northwell Health.

Susan Browning has a MPH from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health in Health Policy and Management as well as a BA from Barnard College / Columbia University in Biology. Susan is also certified from Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health as an Assistant Professor (Adjunct Faculty) and from the United States Department of Commerce as a Board of Examiners for the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award. Finally, they are a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

They work with Rita Mercieca - SVP and Chief Administrator, Maxine Carrington - SVP, Chief People Officer, and Phyllis Mccready - Vice President and Chief Procurement Officer. Susan Browning reports to Michael Dowling, President and CEO.
