Andrew Yacht

Andrew Yacht, MD, directs Northwell Health’s graduate medical education and medical student education programs, as well as supervises administration of continuing medical education, faculty development and alumni affairs. He serves as designated institutional official for Northwell and previously served in this capacity for Lenox Hill Hospital.

Prior to joining Northwell, Dr. Yacht served as vice chair of medicine, program director of the internal medicine program and chief of the section of general internal medicine at Maimonides Medical Center in Brooklyn.

Dr. Yacht is a fellow of the American College of Physicians (ACP) and chairs New York ACP’s Graduate Medical Education Task Force. He is a member and national councilor of the Association of Program Directors in Internal Medicine and a fellow of the New York Academy of Medicine.

A national presenter and author of articles, textbook chapters and reports, Dr. Yacht is a consultant for the Greater New York Hospital Association and the New York State Board for Professional Medical Conduct, Office of Professional Medical Conduct.
