Rachel Smith Msn

Rachel Smith MSN, RN, NP-C has over a decade of experience in healthcare, currently serving as the Director of Clinical Operations for Palliative Care at Northwell Health since March 2011. In this role, Rachel oversees a team of approximately 30 professionals, managing staff, departmental budgets, and recruitment efforts. Prior to this position, Rachel worked as a Family Nurse Practitioner in an outpatient cardiology practice and as a Registered Nurse in various settings, including telemetry and case management. Earlier experience includes roles at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center as a Registered Nurse and a Physician's Office Assistant. Rachel holds a Master of Science in Family Practice Nursing and a Bachelor of Science in Registered Nursing from Wagner College, as well as a Bachelor of Arts in American History from Dickinson College.
