Jennifer Houghton

Jennifer Houghton has a diverse work experience spanning from 1996 to the present day. Jennifer started their career as a Workers' Compensation Case Manager at Travelers Property Casualty in 1996 and then moved on to work as a Long-term Disability Case Manager at CIGNA Group Insurance from 1999 to 2001. Jennifer then joined Citizens Bank as a Credit Underwriter from 2002 to 2009, where they underwrote commercial relationships across multiple states. Jennifer then worked as a Compliance Analyst at The MedAmerica Insurance Companies from 2009 to 2010, maintaining compliance with regulations. Jennifer then transitioned to KeyBank, where they worked as a Senior Underwriter from 2010 to 2013, underwriting commercial relationships in the Rochester area. Currently, they are employed at Northwest Bank, where they have held various roles, including Senior Credit Analyst, Vice President, Senior Credit Analyst, and their current position as Vice President, Credit Officer. In these roles, Jennifer has been responsible for analyzing commercial loan requests, recommending appropriate risk ratings and loan structures, and managing the commercial banking portfolio in the Rochester area. Jennifer has also supervised and mentored teams of credit analysts, ensuring timely completion of credit requests and adherence to standards. Throughout their career, Jennifer has demonstrated strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of regulatory requirements and economic conditions to mitigate risk in commercial relationships.

Jennifer Houghton earned a Bachelors degree in Management Science from SUNY Geneseo in 1993. From 1993 to 1995, they pursued a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) at Rochester Institute of Technology.
