About

The board of directors at Northwest Florida State College has a long history of experience in various aspects of education and public policy. The current chairman is Ginger Bowden Madden, who was elected to the position in 2019. Prior to her current role, she served as the executive director of the Office of the State Attorney for the 1st Judicial Circuit of Florida. She has also served on the transition team for the First Judicial Circuit State Attorney's Office and as chairman of the Okaloosa County Commission. In addition to her experience in education and public policy, Madden also holds a degree in criminal justice/political science from Troy University and a degree in management & leadership from Liberty University.
