Eric Scheijgrond

Eric Scheijgrond has a diverse work experience with a focus on healthcare real estate. Eric is currently the Managing Director Netherlands at NorthWest Healthcare Properties REIT. Prior to this, they worked at EMS Real Estate Consultancy where they supported clients in addressing challenges and opportunities in healthcare real estate. Eric also initiated collaborations to improve the efficiency and transparency of the healthcare real estate market. Before that, they served as the Country Manager Netherlands at Aedifica NV. Eric has also worked at Cushman & Wakefield as an Associate Director Healthcare/Real Estate Advisor, and at DTZ Zadelhoff as an Associate Director Healthcare. Additionally, they have held various positions in the healthcare industry, including Energie Manager and Portefeuillemanager Vastgoed at Parnassia Groep, Vastgoed Manager at Bavo Europoort, and Hoofd Vastgoed & Facilities A.I. at GGZ Groep Europoort. Eric started their career as a technisch productie assistent at Endemol and as a Project leider at Grand Canyon.

Eric Scheijgrond attended Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 1997 to 1999, where they studied aeronautical engineering. Eric then went on to complete their Bachelor's degree in facility management at De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences between 2001 and 2005. Finally, from 2008 to 2011, Eric studied real estate management at TIAS School for Business and Society, earning their MRE degree.
