Leaha Hicks

Leaha Hicks, SPHR has a comprehensive work experience spanning over a decade. Leaha is currently working as the Human Resources Director at Northwest Healthcare Tucson, a position they have held since June 2022. Prior to this, Leaha served as the Market Manager for Human Resources and the Human Resources Manager at the same company. Leaha also worked as an Employee Relations Specialist, an HR Business Partner, an HR Specialist, and an HR Coordinator at Northwest Healthcare Tucson.

Before joining Northwest Healthcare Tucson, Leaha gained valuable experience working as an HR Assistant at Sunquest Information Systems from March 2010 to July 2012.

Throughout their career, Leaha has demonstrated expertise in various HR functions and has progressively grown into leadership roles. Their experience spans areas such as employee relations, HR coordination, HR specialist, HR business partnering, and management.

Leaha Hicks, SPHR has a strong educational background with a focus on psychology and human resources. Leaha completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Psychology from the University of Michigan, where they studied from 2004 to 2008. In 2011, they pursued further education at Pima Community College, earning a certificate in Human Resources. These academic experiences have provided Leaha Hicks with a well-rounded foundation in understanding human behavior and managing HR functions.
