Catherine Harris is an experienced ecological professional currently serving as the Mid-South Sound Regional Habitat Biologist for the Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission since November 2022. Catherine's expertise includes providing technical assistance to Mid and South Sound Treaty Tribes in Western Washington, with a focus on ArcGIS Pro mapping and data exchange. Previous roles include Scientific Technician positions at the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife, as well as marine biological monitoring as a Protected Species Observer. Catherine possesses a Master's degree in Environmental Studies from The Evergreen State College and a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Studies from Western Washington University.
