Ed Colgate

Ed Colgate is a Professor at Northwestern University, where Ed has been affiliated with the Center for Robotics and Biosystems since September 1988. Colgate co-founded and served as CEO of Tanvas from June 2011 to September 2022 and founded Cobotics, Inc. from 1997 to 2002. Colgate holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where studies were completed between 1979 and 1988.
