Katie Hytros

Katie Hytros is an accomplished educator and consultant currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer at Northwestern University and as a Trustee for Sacred Heart Schools. Since 2010, Katie has been the Owner and President of Bright Maple Advisors, specializing in consulting and coaching for the nonprofit, philanthropic, and public sectors, particularly in K-12 public education. Previous roles include Executive Director of Future Leaders of Chicago, Treasurer of the Board at Park West Cooperative Nursery School, Deputy to the Chief Education Officer at Chicago Public Schools, and a Broad Resident in Urban Education. Katie's experience also includes significant positions at Bain & Company and New Leaders for New Schools. Educational credentials include an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a BS in Industrial and Operations Engineering from the University of Michigan.
