Sara Hernández

Sara Hernández is an experienced educator and economist currently serving as an Associate Professor of Instruction at Northwestern University since September 2015, previously holding the title of Assistant Professor of Instruction. Hernández teaches courses in Economics of Gender, Labor Economics, and Microeconomics. Prior to joining Northwestern University, significant academic training occurred at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where Hernández completed a PhD in Economics while also obtaining a Kaufman Teaching Certificate in Higher Education. Additional experience includes working as an Evaluation Consultant for Innovations for Poverty Action and a doctoral student at MIT. Educational background includes a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Universitat Pompeu Fabra and an International Baccalaureate from Mahindra United World College.
