Irelys Gomez

Irelys Gomez is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in internal audit and financial statements. Currently serving as the Senior Director of Internal Audit at Norwegian Cruise Line since October 2004, Irelys manages the Internal Audit Department, overseeing operational audits, special projects, Enterprise Risk Management, and compliance initiatives, while reporting directly to the Vice President of Internal Audit. Prior to this role, Irelys worked as a Senior Auditor at KPMG from January 2002 to October 2004, where responsibilities included conducting financial audits across various sectors and contributing to the implementation of Sarbanes-Oxley. Irelys holds a Master's degree in Accounting from Florida International University, obtained in 2003, and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from the same institution, awarded in 2001.
