Chuck Moorse

Chuck has responsibility for providing leadership, expertise and support on a wide range of legal matters for both the firm and its portfolio companies.

Prior to joining NEP in 2016, Chuck worked at Lindquist & Vennum (L&V) for over 30 years, starting his career as an intern in 1985 and progressing to Partner in 1992. During his career at L&V, Moorse advised hundreds of public and private company clients across various industry groups on matters including mergers and acquisitions, private equity, venture financing, public offerings, corporate governance, and securities regulation. Moorse was Co-Chair of L&V’s Private Equity Group, on the firm’s Management Committee, and served as M&A Practice Group Chair.

In addition, he has received significant recognition in the broader legal community, including Chambers USA: America’s Leading Lawyers for Business, Corporate M&A; Best Lawyers in America: Minneapolis Corporate Compliance Law “Lawyer of the Year”; Best Lawyers in America; Minnesota Super Lawyers; and Minnesota Lawyer, Attorney of the Year in 2013.
