Matt De Silva

Founder & Executive Chairman at Notable Labs

Matt founded Notable Labs in 2014 after his father was diagnosed with three glioblastoma multiforme brain tumors, in order to identify which combinations of therapies might be most promising. Matt had found no such treatment options existed, even after having the tumor tested for mutations that could be targeted and making a list of every relevant clinical trial around the world.

Matt was born in Canada but grew up in the U.S., living in 7 different states along the way. His career began at Bank of America Merrill Lynch’s analyst program, and he subsequently accepted a position at Peter Thiel’s family office hedge fund, Clarium Capital, as a trader and later became a portfolio manager. He earned his bachelor’s in applied economics and was the captain of the cross country team at Cornell University.
