Catriel Giuliano

Head of R&D at NotCo

Catriel Giuliano is the current head of R&D at NotCo. Prior to this, they were the R&I director at Danone Canada from May 2001 to January 2020. Catriel was responsible for coordinating all activities of new product development and renovation of existing products in collaboration with many departments, particularly Marketing, Industrial, Quality, Purchasing, Sales and Finance. Catriel also contributed to R&D network of the Fresh Dairy Products division worldwide, both with Danone U.S., core teams of Danone Research, R&D with the local platforms in other CBUs. Under their leadership, the company back to growth dairy category H1 2019 +1.7% vs LY reaching record of market share of 36.9% through entering to relevant segment and launching new brands. Catriel also successfully integrated Plant Based Beverage, Plant Based Yogurt and Coffee Creamers as part of WhiteWave acquisition. Set-up new R&I organization to develop these categories and build strong expansion into new bases such as almond, cashew, oat, high protein and organic. Pull of these categories grew H1 2019 +18.0% vs LY.

Catriel Giuliano has a degree in engineering from the University of Buenos Aires and a program in innovation and technology from Universidad Austral in Buenos Aires.

They work with Karim Pichara - Co-Founder and CTO, Simone Murata - Global Head of Integrated Brand Experience, and Meri Jebirashvili - Senior Manager, Talent Acquisition & Culture. Their manager is Matías Muchnick, CEO & Founder.
