Edgar Velazquez

Edgar Velazquez has a strong background in software development and web design. Edgar co-founded Noted Analytics in 2018 and served as the CTO, focusing on training and implementing algorithms for natural language processing and researching new approaches for product-market fit. Edgar also designed and developed mobile application solutions. Prior to that, Edgar worked as a freelance web software developer, offering web development services and prototyping applications. Edgar also developed automation scripts for data collection. Edgar also worked as a freelance web developer for Specialized Bicycle Components in 2022, where they developed web interfaces, improved geospatial search functionality, and analyzed bike activities and historical data. Edgar also worked at Blue World Inc as a senior software engineer from 2016 to 2018, where they developed command line parsing solutions, web platforms for data collection and analysis, and managed and queried data from multiple databases. Edgar co-founded Dayabroad in 2016, where they created the overall platform, managed supported languages, and co-created the web application. Edgar also worked as a web developer at Markets Group in 2015, focusing on user experience design, email solutions, and improving overall performance of web applications. Edgar started their career as a webmaster at Taxidepot Inc in 2010, where they monitored website traffic, managed sales, and created engaging designs. Edgar also worked as a graphic designer at toolsart.com from 2011 to 2012, designing logos and providing corporate identity packages for customers.

Edgar Velazquez has a diverse education history that spans multiple fields of study. In 2004, they attended Colegio EMD Ysaty, where they studied Graphic Design. From 2008 to 2011, they pursued a degree in Graphic Design and Classical Music at Dordt University. In 2017, Edgar enrolled in Udacity and completed a Machine Learning Nanodegree (MLND) program.

More recently, in 2020, Edgar joined MIT xPRO to study Computer Science. During their time at MIT xPRO, they obtained a certification in Introduction to Quantum Computing in November 2020.

In addition to formal education, Edgar has acquired various certifications and completed workshops. In 2017, they attended the Google Summit in NYC, where they were introduced to Machine Learning with TensorFlow and Cloud ML Engine. Edgar also obtained a certification in a workshop titled "PYTHON FOR DATA SCIENCE" from Practical Programming| ProgramWithUs.com. Edgar has also completed a course on Learn PHP Fundamentals From Scratch from Udemy. Additionally, Edgar has completed the "Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp" course from Udemy.

Edgar has also participated in Code School, where they completed the courses "Shaping up with Angular.js" and "Try jQuery."
