Fatemeh Alavizadeh

Fatemeh Alavizadeh currently serves as the Head of Core Product Engineering at Notion. Prior to this, they were with Airtable for just over a year, where they held the title of Engineering Leadership. Before that, they spent four years at Airbnb as the Head of Engineering for Airbnb Experiences. There, they were responsible for leading the engineering organization of ~45 people and successfully launching Online Experiences in less than 3 weeks. Prior to their time at Airbnb, Alavizadeh worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Facebook on the Android creative tools team. There, they worked with cross functional and cross platform partners to launch many features including photo filters, edit gallery, sticker posts and so on. Before Facebook, Alavizadeh worked at Microsoft Corporation on the SQL Server for two years as a software engineer. Her first professional role was as a System Verification Intern at Intel, which they held for ten months.

Fatemeh Alavizadeh has a MS in Software Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin and a MS in Information Technology from the University of Tehran.

Fatemeh Alavizadeh reports to Madhu Muthukumar, Chief Product Officer. They work with Ganesh Ramanarayanan - Head of Platform Engineering, Cheick Keita - Head of Data Products, and Michael Manapat - Engineering Manager.
