Joseph Bergdoll is a seasoned design leader with extensive experience in product design and digital transformation. Currently serving as Creative Lead at Notion since October 2024, Joseph previously held the position of Director of Product Design for News & Culture and Newsletters at Condé Nast, where leadership was provided to a diverse team in designing impactful products for major subscription brands such as The New Yorker and Vanity Fair. Joseph's tenure at The New Yorker began in June 2019 as the first Director of Product Design, contributing to significant growth in team size and the successful alignment of business goals with user needs. With additional roles at organizations including sweetgreen, The Cooper Union, and Extended Play, Joseph has consistently demonstrated expertise in leading design initiatives that enhance user engagement and drive business growth. Joseph holds a Bachelor of Science in Visual Communication Design from The Design School at Arizona State University.
