Elaine Locke

Elaine Locke is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in higher education and quality assurance. Currently serving as the Head of Operations at Nottingham Trent University since February 2017, Elaine has held various roles, including Standards & Quality Manager and Senior Quality & Standards Officer. Previous experience includes consultancy for The Education and Skills Consultancy, where planning and developing apprenticeship provision was a key focus. Additional roles at Black Country Consortium and external examining positions at Buckinghamshire New University, The Open University, and the University of Derby further demonstrate expertise in academic standards and quality improvement. Elaine has a robust background in educational leadership, having served as Head of Education & Sport at Thomas International and Head of Higher Education at Loughborough College, as well as acquiring a Master of Science in Sports Science from Loughborough University.
