Jo Hankey

Jo Hankey currently serves as Principal Lecturer in Sports Science (Employability) at Nottingham Trent University since October 2023. Prior to this role, Jo Hankey spent over twelve years at Coventry University, progressing from Lecturer to Assistant Professor, and ultimately serving as Associate Professor and Curriculum Lead in Sport and Exercise Sciences from January 2011 to September 2023. Earlier experience includes a position as Graduate Teaching Assistant at Newman University Birmingham from September 2007 to January 2011. Jo Hankey holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD), a Master of Science (MS) in Sport Physiology, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Sport and Exercise Science (Physiology), all obtained from Liverpool John Moores University.
