Bernadette Sewer

Bernadette Sewer has a diverse work experience spanning different industries and roles. In 2008, they worked as a Development & Fundraising Coordinator at the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation of America. From 2010 to 2011, they served as the Social Secretary for The Ambassador of Australia on a contract basis at the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade. In 2010, they also worked as a Research Marketer at McGraw Hill Construction.

From 2011 to 2012, Bernadette worked at Business SA, focusing on international trade projects. Bernadette then became a Senior Publicist at Kerry O'Brien Publicity from 2003 to 2010, with a brief gap in 2004, where they took on the role of Senior Publicist as a freelancer.

In 2015, Bernadette joined Levi Strauss & Co. as an Assistant to SVP, LSA & Global Ecommerce; VP, Global Ecomm Ops & Analytics, VP Global Ecomm Mktg. In 2016, they became the General Manager, South Australia at the American Chamber of Commerce, Australia. Starting in 2019, they worked as a Media Manager at Grays PR until February 2021.

More recently, Bernadette landed a position as a Partnerships Strategist at NOVA Entertainment starting in May 2022. Additionally, they have their own business called The Platform Affair/ Bernadette Sewer Publicity, where they have worked as a contractor specializing in marketing and communications, publicity, and executive support.

Bernadette Sewer completed their education history with several qualifications in the field of marketing, public relations, and media training. In 1994, they attended the Vaughan Harvey Radio Broadcasting School and obtained a Certificate of Radio Broadcasting. The following year, in 1995, they attended the NRS Media School in Canberra, ACT, Australia, where they studied Public Relations and Media Training. Their academic journey continued in 2008 when they attended the University of South Australia. There, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Marketing, focusing on the field of study in marketing.
