Deidre Taylor

Deidre Taylor has extensive experience in communications and public engagement within the healthcare sector, currently serving as Senior Director and Delivery Executive Advisor for the Health Transformation Office at Nova Scotia Health Authority since April 2015. Previous roles at Nova Scotia Health Authority include acting co-lead for Communications and Public Engagement, and Director of Communications for both the Health Transformation Office and the Health Innovation Hub. Prior experience includes positions at Capital Health as Senior Communications Advisor and at the Government of Nova Scotia as Communications Advisor for the Health Administrative Systems Project. Deidre's earlier roles spanned marketing and communications in organizations including Seimac Limited and the Canadian Red Cross. Academically, Deidre holds a Master of Arts in Leadership from the Lang School of Business and Economics at the University of Guelph, along with a Bachelor of Public Relations from Mount Saint Vincent University and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of New Brunswick.
