Francine Butts has extensive work experience in the healthcare industry. Francine currently works as the Medical Affairs Lead at Nova Scotia Health Authority since October 2022. Prior to that, they had a long tenure at Emergency Medical Care Inc. where they held the position of Integrated Health Programs Support Supervisor from January 2001 to October 2022. Francine also served as a Medical Assistant in the Canadian Armed Forces from January 1997 to January 2009.
In 2002, Francine Butts attended Cape Breton University and obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. From 2000 to 2001, they studied Level 1 Paramedic at Holland College, and in 2003-2004, they pursued Advanced Care Paramedic at the same institution. Lastly, from 2012 to 2015, Francine Butts pursued Adult and Continuing Education and Teaching at Brock University.
