Gil Delgado

Gil Delgado has extensive work experience in the field of advanced technology development. Gil currently holds the position of VP of Advanced Technology at Nova Ltd., where they lead the division's technical vision and development roadmap. Gil'sresponsibilities include assessing technologies, identifying and developing compelling technologies for new products, and promoting the company's technology leadership within the industry. Gil also drives technology-driven initiatives with customers and manages multi-disciplinary teams.

Prior to joining Nova Ltd., Gil worked at KLA-Tencor for many years in various roles. As the Director of Advanced Technology Development, they built and managed teams focused on developing new technologies for wafer and mask inspection divisions. Gil also had roles as a Principal Research Scientist/Manager and Principal Research Scientist/Technical project Sr Manager at KLA-Tencor, where they proposed and developed laser-produced plasmas, optics damage R&D groups, and EUV advanced technology development for inspection.

Before their time at KLA-Tencor, Gil worked as a Physicist at Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory, where they researched semiconductor nanocrystals and their application in optoelectronic and photonic systems.

Overall, Gil's work experience spans from leading and managing advanced technology teams to conducting research and development in various fields of advanced technology.

Gil Delgado holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree from the University of California, Davis.
