Zhichen Zhu

Zhichen Zhu has a diverse work experience. They have worked as a Final Test Engineer Lead at Nova Ltd. since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Seagate Technology from 2019 to 2023 as a Senior Servo Integration Test Engineer, where they focused on researching and developing hard disk product tests and failure analysis. They also developed automated test scripts and controlled test systems using MATLAB. Zhichen Zhu also has experience as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant at Iowa State University, where they took on various roles, including leading students in lab activities, demonstrating concepts, and conducting research. They also worked as a Research Intern at Aptalogic Inc. in 2017.

Zhichen Zhu has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University, which they completed from 2009 to 2012. Zhichen further pursued their education at the same university and obtained a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from 2013 to 2015. Finally, Zhichen Zhu completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mechanical Engineering from Iowa State University between 2016 and 2018.
