Albert Farreras

Albert Farreras, CFA, currently serves as an Investment Manager at Novastone Capital Advisors since December 2022, previously holding the position of Senior Investment Associate. Prior to this role, Albert worked at Nomura as an Investment Banking Associate specializing in Mergers and Acquisitions within the Industrials & Chemicals sector from January 2021 to October 2022. Albert's earlier experience includes investment banking roles at HSBC from July 2016 to September 2020, where notable transactions included the EUR 10.1 billion sale of AkzoNobel Specialty Chemicals, and as an Investment Banking Analyst at HSBC Global Banking and Markets in 2015. Albert began their career as a Financial Analyst at BELLSOLÀ from July 2013 to July 2014. Albert holds a Master's Degree in Finance from Esade (2014-2016) and a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and Management from Universitat de Girona (2009-2013).
