Erica Gooch

Erica Gooch, PharmD, has a diverse range of work experience in the pharmaceutical industry. Erica is currently working at Novavax Inc as the Global Risk Management Associate Director, where they are responsible for the development and execution of risk management plans globally. Erica ensures the implementation of risk management commitments and provides expertise to cross-functional teams. Erica also performs regulatory intelligence monitoring and leads the configuration and business owner activities for a risk management document tracking system.

Prior to their current role, Erica worked at Merck as a Clinical Safety and Risk Management Scientist Associate Director. Erica has over 15 years of experience in pharmacovigilance, global regulatory policy and intelligence, and data governance. Erica synthesized data to perform medical assessments of adverse events, conducted signaling and data mining activities, and developed safety reports and responses to health authorities. Erica was responsible for managing pharmacovigilance policy, conducting product safety intelligence activities, and overseeing regulatory policy and intelligence. Erica also served as the Drug Development Information Governance Lead and Relief Pharmacist at Target.
