Anna Merzi

Anna Merzi has been working in the tech industry since 2017. Anna began their career as a Fellow at Kairos in 2017. In 2018, they co-founded and became the CEO of AlgoPay, a consumer-first digital bank for MENA's next generation of online consumers. Backed by Techstars, 500 Startups, Rough Draft by General Catalyst, and angels from Uber, PayPal & Flutterwave. In 2021, they co-founded and became the COO of Novel, a Shopify-friendly platform for Web3 commerce. This venture was backed by Lerer Hippeau, VaynerFund, Sugar Capital, and Costanoa Ventures.

Anna Merzi graduated from the University of Southern California in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and Middle East Studies, and a Minor in Business Law.
