Mirko Ludwig

Mirko Ludwig is a seasoned electrical engineering professional with extensive experience in various high-tech industries. Currently serving as Lead Electrical Engineer at Novelis since December 2022, Mirko previously held the position of Lead Technical Specialist for Laser Welding and Instrumentation at AM/NS Calvert from May 2009 to December 2022. In this role, Mirko supervised the commissioning of advanced laser welding systems and instrumentation, while ensuring compliance with radiation and laser safety regulations. Prior to AM/NS Calvert, Mirko worked at Siemens from April 1998 to May 2009, focusing on commissioning state-of-the-art cold mills and laser welders, and achieving significant improvements in manufacturing processes. Mirko's education includes training from Siemens Technical College of Electrical Technology and Technische Universität Berlin.
