Amanda Escontrias

Amanda Escontrias has a variety of work experience in different roles and industries. Recently, they worked as a Product QA Analyst at Novo Labs, Inc. starting in August 2022. Prior to that, they were a Resource Center Specialist at The Container Store from May 2021 to August 2022.

Amanda also has several years of experience at FirstBank, where they held various roles in the security and infrastructure departments. Amanda was an Associate Analyst in Infrastructure Security from October 2018 to May 2021, an Associate Analyst in Security Projects from December 2017 to October 2018, and a Security Admin Specialist from December 2016 to December 2017.

Before joining FirstBank, Amanda worked as an IT Coordinator at the University of Colorado from May 2015 to December 2016. Amanda also served as a Systems Support Specialist II at Workforce Solutions Borderplex from August 2012 to April 2015.

Additionally, Amanda has experience as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator at the United Way of El Paso County from September 2011 to August 2012. Amanda also worked as a Contractor in their own business from April 2010 to January 2012.

Earlier in their career, Amanda held positions at Eagle Nutrition as a Graphics/IT staff member from May 2008 to April 2010, CROSSMARK as a Retail Representative from September 2007 to June 2008, and Vodafone as a Data Entry/Data Cleansing employee from November 2006 to July 2007.

Amanda Escontrias completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Marketing from The University of Texas at El Paso, studying from 1998 to 2003. Later, from 2008 to 2010, they pursued an Associate of Applied Science (AAS) degree in Advertising Graphics and Design from El Paso Community College. Additionally, Amanda obtained various certifications including "Security for the SMB: Implementing the NIST Framework" from LinkedIn in January 2020, "Learning Virtualization" from LinkedIn in July 2019, "Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO)" from Scrum Alliance in May 2023, "CompTIA A+" from CompTIA in April 2015, and "AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner" from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in February 2020.
