Allegra Kaufman

Allegra Kaufman is a seasoned medical professional with extensive experience in clinical development and research. At Novo Nordisk, Allegra served as Executive Director of Clinical Development Strategy and Senior Medical Director of Clinical Development and Research for Cardiovascular Disease and Chronic Kidney Disease from April 2021 to August 2023. Prior to that, Allegra held the position of Vice President of Early Clinical Development at Capsida Biotherapeutics from October 2019 to April 2021. At Amgen, Allegra advanced through various roles, including Executive Medical Director for the Cardiovascular and Metabolic Therapeutic Area, and completed a tenure spanning from February 2009 to October 2019. Earlier in the career, Allegra contributed as an Instructor in Clinical Investigation at The Rockefeller University (September 2005 - December 2008). Allegra holds a BA in Biology from Cornell University and an MD from New York Medicine Jobs, both completed between January 1997 and January 2001.
